Into the Breach<\/em><\/a> is a turn-based strategy game, along the lines of the Advance Wars<\/em> series, where players control futuristic mechs fighting off an invasion of giant, bug-like alien monsters. It\u2019s basically Pacific Rim<\/em> crossed with XCOM<\/em>, and it\u2019s from the creators of the addictive spaceship simulator FTL: Faster Than Light<\/em>. If any of those words sound appealing to you, you\u2019re going to like Into the Breach<\/em> a lot.<\/p>\n

The game takes place in a future on the brink of disaster. Much of humanity has been decimated by the kaiju invasion, with isolated pockets of survivors strewn across four different islands. You control a team of three mechs traveling to different districts across the islands, clearing them of bugs before moving on to the next….<\/p>\n
