SL Green Realty Corporation recently released their VR tour of One Vanderbilt, a 58-floor, 1.7 million-square-foot building currently under construction in Manhattan.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur collateral material includes a very cool website\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0. and some very cool virtual reality tools using computer game technology, which provides an immersive experience never before used in marketing an office building,\u201d Steve Durels, SL Green\u2019s executive vice president, told investors.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The experience is amplifying interest and boosting pre-sales before the building foundation is even\u00a0poured.<\/p>\n

VR is changing the way people tour office\u00a0space.<\/p>\n

Residential<\/h3>\n

Sotheby\u2019s International Realty has a tour feature on their website similar to technology utilized at 25 Kent and One Vanderbilt. VR tours are being sent to their client\u2019s so they can experience the property in the comfort of their own home. Sotheby\u2019s believes this is an inflection point in digital marketing that will change where the home buying process\u00a0begins.<\/p>\n

Recently, a trendy brokerage firm in Beverly Hills, The Agency, hosted an extravagant event at their new listing on Delresto Drive. Listed by Santiago Arana and Billy Rose, this contemporary estate was celebrated lavishly with the highest tech marketing in the industry. Billy Rose (pictured below) is seen enjoying the virtual tour from an Agency branded headset. Several well respected Los Angelus producers attended the event and were impressed with the real estate industry\u2019s vision and utilization of the technology.<\/p>\n
