Today we want to show you a good example of how LogUp integrates perfectly with Saas services, to improve user experience and eliminates the annoying of duplicate fake users.
What is GoUpLive?
GoUpLive is a service that lets users stream LIVE on Facebook with multimedia contents, such as LIVE polls and games. Born in 2016 a few months after Facebook LIVE API were introduced, it is unique since it allows users to stream directly from GoUpLive’s servers, and not from users’ PC.
Integration process
They have just integrated our service, allowing their users to access with LogUp. If you go to their website (www.gouplive.com) and try to enter, you see you can either register with username/password or using LogUp.
The process is simple: open LogUp (or download if you do not have installed yet), scan the QR Code and enjoy your login. If you already had an account there, you will be asked for your previous credentials, to match user’s existing account with the new LogUp identity.
The dev team was able to integrate LogUp without editing their database, but using our database feature, promoting LogUp access with a 20% off if you are only using LogUp as the login method. The team has also scheduled a roadmap to make sure all their users will use LogUp access by the end of 2018.
Why this promotion?
GoUpLive, like a lot of other Saas, is tired of users creating thousands of fake accounts to keep using their free trial version, as well as users that purchase their product and shares with dozens of other users. LogUp is the simplest way to make sure that no fake accounts can be created, or that multiple users don’t share the same account.
