Some people move so fast when they play the VR game Beat Saber, a rhythm game that’s basically Dance Dance Revolution with lightsabers, that Valve developers have had to issue a fix. People were moving so fast that Steam VR couldn’t track their movements, as spotted by Kotaku. After collecting the data on Beat Saber experts, Valve developers had to issue a fix to the trackers in Valve’s Lighthouse technology that tracks movement. Apex Legends has hit 25 million players after one week

Apex Legends, the free-to-play battle royale game from the creators of Titanfall, has just passed 25 million registered players after just one week since its release, developer Respawn Entertainment announced this afternoon. The milestone shows just how explosively popular the game has become in such a short time; just three days after release, Apex Legends passed 10 million players. Additionally, the game recorded “well over” 2 million concurrent players this past weekend, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella noted on Twitter. If you bought Guitar Hero Live, Activision might refund your money

If you bought Guitar Hero Live in the US between December 1st, 2017 and January 1st, 2019, publisher Activision is offering to refund your money. The company launched a “voluntary refund program” earlier in February, around two months after it cut off access to the vast majority of Guitar Hero Live’s song library. Buyers have until May 1st to submit a claim, preferably with either a sales receipt or a credit card statement confirming the purchase. As Polygon notes, Activision launched this program soon after a lawsuit over false Guitar Hero Live advertising was dismissed. EA’s new battle royale shooter Apex Legends has reached 25 million total players since its debut last week. An update on the official EA website from Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella announced the news of the milestone, which also notes that the game hosted two million concurrent players during its peak over the weekend.
